1M1: Hollywood Horns of the Golden Years is seeking funding to clear the rights to film clips, music, and photographs used in the film. This documentary captures a period of history that can never be retold as almost all musicians from this era of film music history are sadly no longer living. It is our hope to get this documentary off the hard drive where it lives and out into the world for film lovers, music groupies, history buffs, students, and educators to enjoy. The film resonates with anyone who has ever seen a motion picture. This project has teamed with the fiscal receiver Social Good who houses the donations. All donations to 1M1: Hollywood Horns of the Golden Years are tax deductible.

Thank yous should be given to the following people:

  • Ginni Maccini for allowing Annie to access the Henry Mancini archives to find rare footage straight off the soundstage of Days of Wine and Roses.

  • John Williams for sharing his knowledge and love for the horn.

  • Randy Newman for his genius and humor.

  • The families of all of the Hollywood horn players. You have all treated us well.

  • Stuart Silver for his immense patience, expertise, and troubleshooting.

  • Erin Breen Armstrong for always believing in this project.

  • Dylan Hart for having my back always.

Special thank you to
